Correct selection of steel and ceramic anchors used for the installation of refractory castables, brick or ceramic fibre and/or light weight insulating products directly affects the service life of the refractory. Anchors of different quality and type, primarily SS 310, SS 304, SS 316 and Inconel are selectable depending on the specific application.

Anchors are generally classified under three categories:

 • Refractory Castable Anchors

 • Fibre and/or Light Weight Insulating Product Anchors

 • Refractory Brick Anchors
